Adrienne Mihelic
Program Manager

Adrienne joined the NNHQI Campaign in 2011 as a Gerontologist and Program Manager, guiding the development of website content and functionality, and supporting long-term care organizations in pursuing their quality improvement goals. Her favorite part of any day is spent on the phone with a Campaign participant learning to use a Tracking Tool, interpreting data, and brainstorming next steps in a quality improvement project.

Adrienne has lived north, south, east and west, but currently calls Boulder, CO her home. She loves exploring and spending time with little creatures from her honeybees to ocean dwellers, a fascination she probably inherited from her mom, with whom she also enjoys gardening. To relax on the weekends, she indulges in crossword puzzles and cozy mysteries. Adrienne is also passionate about creating inclusive and supportive physical and social environments for people of all ages.

David Reynolds
Project Manager

David has been with the Campaign since 2017. His role as Project Manager includes handling the administrative functions required to keep the Campaign running. In addition, he helps in the development of the Campaign Tracking Tools in Excel—he is proud to have managed the programming and implementation of the Dementia Care & Psychotropic Medication Tracking Tool. He hopes that this type of work helps to support LTC staff to be as effective as possible in improving care for their residents

David lives in Denver, CO, taking advantage of the year-round sunshine by spending his spare time with his wife walking their two dogs in the park. He also enjoys indulging in his guilty pleasure now and then—Haagen Dazs ice cream. Fun fact: Haagen-Dazs sounds like something in Danish, but it’s actually just a made up name. Good marketing!

Heather McDowell
Project Assistant

Heather joined the Campaign in 2017, assisting with scheduling, communications, event calendaring, document organization, and any additional ad hoc projects that come her way. She was born in Florida but has spent most of her life in Colorado and now works in our Denver, CO office. She is excited to be part of the Campaign team and to have the opportunity to learn something completely different every day.

When she’s not working, Heather is in her happy place anywhere with her camera, focused on creating a beautiful shot and tuning out the world. She spends a lot of her spare time watching sports and, in the winter, skiing! She also devotes time and thought to caring about human rights of all shapes and sizes.

Claudia Wright
Lead Healthcare Data Analyst

Claudia has been with the Campaign since 2014, becoming the key person in the timely and efficient quarterly updates to both long-stay and short-stay MDS 3.0 quality measure trend graphs that are accessible on the Campaign website. She was born and raised in Western Oklahoma, where she still resides today.

When not working, Claudia enjoys spending quality time with her family playing games, watching her kids participate in extra-curricular activities, trying new places to eat, traveling, or enjoying a rare windy-free day in Oklahoma. She also admits to turning on “Dancing with the Stars” to relax after a long day at work. Her personal motto: Don’t put off until tomorrow things that I can reasonably get done today.

Danielle Kenney
Communications Liaison

Danielle started with the Campaign in late 2017 as the Communications Liaison, responsible for the overall communication strategy for the Campaign. She is excited to continue to help grow the Campaign’s outreach opportunities and improve Campaign messaging to best serve our long-term care audience. She works out of Denver, CO, which she has called home for most of her life.

Danielle enjoys running, traveling, going to the theater to see a new show (musicals are her favorite), and spending time with her family. She also enjoys singing herself…in her car, the shower, or at karaoke night! On weekend mornings, she is happiest curled up on the couch watching a new Netflix documentary or cheering on the Denver Broncos during football season!

Ronald Marx
Lead Website Developer

Ron began his career with the Campaign in 2006 and since has become the resident website guru. He has been integral in building and maintaining the style and functionality of the website in order to create better user-experience. This includes a new web-based feature for users to create their own measures, track data for those measures, and view and download their data displayed in a trend graph. He hopes his work with the Campaign supports those in the field who are helping our seniors to live a quality life.

Ron currently lives just outside of Kansas City, MO, but originally hails from Denver, CO. He stays active by playing tennis and refereeing soccer matches. He also enjoys indulging in his guilty pleasure when he can: wild blueberry scones from Panera Bread. Delicious!

Blake Norrell
Website Developer

Blake joined the Campaign in mid-2018 and has quickly become a go-to for website maintenance, learning the nuances of the Campaign’s history and current priorities, as well as the code behind all of the website functionality. He is happy to be a part of the Campaign’s mission to impact the quality of care that long-term care residents receive on a daily basis.

Blake is from Norman, OK but currently resides in West Des Moines, IA. Outside of work, Blake spends his time (and a good portion of his income) on all things car-related. On weekends, you can usually find him on a car cruise with fellow enthusiasts, or at the go-kart track with his two boys.
